At The Sam Bernstein Law Firm, we understand how important sports are to families throughout Michigan. In fact, several members of our own legal team volunteer their time to help coach and support youth sports teams, and many others are dedicated sports fans.

That is why we are particularly proud to sponsor the CALL SAM KidKaster Contest.

  KidKaster Contest

The contest is open to Michigan youth 10 to 14 years old. The winner gets to interview a Detroit Tigers baseball player at Comerica Park on or about June 19, 2012. A segment of the interview will be shown in a FOX Sports Detroit pre- or post-game show.

In addition, the winner will get to shadow a game reporter for the on-field pre-game segment, visit the on-air talent in the press box, and tour the FOX Sports Production Truck. Finally, the winner and 3 guests will be able to stay to watch the baseball game at Comerica Park.

The contest starts on May 11, 2012 and the deadline to submit entries is 5:00 p.m. EDT on May 29, 2012.

To enter the KidKaster contest, the parent and/or legal guardian of the potential KidKaster must:

1. Click here to download the Contest Registration Form. Fill out all the requested information.

2. Record a video essay of the potential KidKaster, which explains why he or she should have the opportunity to interview a favorite Detroit Tiger, and to have a segment of the interview aired in a pre-game or post-game show. The video essay must be:

  • One minute or less in length;
  • Submitted on a DVD; and
  • In one of these file formats: .wmv; .mov; .mp4; .mpg; or .mpeg.

3. The parent and/or legal guardian of the potential KidKaster must mail the completed and signed Contest Registration Form and the DVD of the video essay to: The Sam Bernstein Law Firm, 31731 Northwestern Highway, Suite 333, Farmington Hills, Michigan, 48334, Attention: CALL SAM KidKaster. Each entry must be received at The Sam Bernstein Law Firm, no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 29, 2012 to be eligible.

The top 5 video essays will be posted on this website at callsam.com/sports. Sports fans from throughout Michigan are invited to visit callsam.com/sports and vote for the young person who should become the CALL SAM KidKaster from June 1 through June 12, 2012. Only one vote per person will be counted.
