I have met with the families of injured children and I know how devastating an injury to child can be, for the entire family.
Injuries to children can happen many different ways, playground accidents, auto accidents, dog bites, and defective products.
The law gives special protection to children. A child’s age can be a consideration. A child’s actions may be held to a different standard. Most importantly though, the time limits for filing a child’s lawsuit are generally much longer than those for an adult.
So, knowing the law can help you protect your child’s rights. It’s that easy.
If you’d like more information on protecting your child’s rights, our office gives free telephone consultations. Our website also has additional information on children’s injuries.
Remember, while the law may seem confusing, getting help and getting an advantage is easy.
For this week’s It’s A Matter of Law, I’m Mark Bernstein, putting the law on your side.
