Attorney Richard Bernstein filed the disabled veterans' lawsuit, demanding that U-M make Michigan Stadium accessible to wheelchair users. The U.S. Department of Justice intervened in the litigation, by joining the Paralyzed Veterans in their claim that U-M must comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
