Besides practicing law and serving on the Wayne State University Board of Governors, he also is a dedicated athlete.
Bernstein has run several marathons and even completed an Ironman triathlon.
However, he does more than develop is own ability to compete as a long-distance runner. Instead, Bernstein is an ardent supporter of sports programs for children with disabilities. In his view, everyone should have a chance to enjoy running and to strive for his or her “personal best.”
