Job Discrimination
|
Michigan and federal law employment discrimination laws prohibit a Michigan employer from discriminating based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, or age.
For Michigan victims of job discrimination, both federal and state laws provide protections, rights, and remedies. If the employer is a government agency or the government took significant steps to foster the discriminatory practice of a private employer, the U.S. Constitution, as well as the Michigan Constitution, may protect the worker. |
