He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1987 from Wayne State University, where he served on the Student Board of Governors.

His practice has focused nearly exclusively on personal injury litigation. Brian has taken cases to trial in state courts throughout southern and central lower Michigan. In addition, he is an approved case evaluator in Oakland County. Brian is active as a volunteer soccer coach in the city of Novi. He has served as president of his homeowners association and vice-president of the PTA. He volunteers serving holiday dinners at the Salvation Army and delivering meals to group homes.
